Terms of Service

Welcome to Geric New Dawn Psychiatry, PLLC. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully to understand our clinical policies and your responsibilities as a patient.

1. Medical Disclaimer

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or a mental health crisis, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. You may also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Our services are not intended for emergency use.

2. Clinical Relationship

Use of this website does not establish a provider-patient relationship. A formal relationship is only established once you have completed an initial psychiatric evaluation and both you and the provider agree to a treatment plan.

3. Telehealth Services

We provide services via HIPAA-compliant video platforms. To participate, you must:

  • Be physically located in a state where we are licensed (Washington, Colorado, or Iowa) at the time of your appointment.

  • Have a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space for your session.

4. Appointments & Cancellations

We value your time and ours. To ensure all patients have access to care:

  • Notice: We require at least 24–48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Fees: Late cancellations or “no-shows” may result in a fee that is not covered by insurance.

5. Financial Responsibility
  • Insurance: It is your responsibility to verify your coverage. You are responsible for all co-pays, deductibles, or non-covered services at the time of your visit.

  • Payments: We use secure third-party billing platforms (e.g., Headway or Grow Therapy) to process payments.

6. Prescription Policy

Medications are prescribed at the clinical discretion of the provider based on medical necessity. We do not guarantee a specific prescription, and we strictly follow state and federal regulations regarding controlled substances.

7. Patient Conduct

We maintain a safe and respectful environment. Threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or providers may result in immediate termination of care and discharge from the practice.

8. Limitation of Liability

Geric New Dawn Psychiatry provides evidence-based care but cannot guarantee specific medical outcomes. We are not liable for technical issues with third-party telehealth platforms or internet service providers.
